The Orff Schulwerk process of beginning with the elements of music and how people learn can lead us beautifully into the band, orchestra and choir setting. This workshop explores pieces to play that can be used in a general music classroom, but also in an advanced performance ensemble setting. Elements of improvisation can be applied with concert band instruments and dances and songs can be the beginning of complex score reading. Pieces to play at any age and stage!
