Speech is one of the most basic ways we begin to explore the world and an elemental way we come to music. In this session, we will explore playground chants, poems set to music as well as the moving poetry of Langston Hughes as a basis of creative exploration. We will be composing, improvising and choreographing at every level to create aesthetically moving final pieces.
