This is a workshop that I present with Jenny Burnett, a modern dance teacher.  We follow the historical roots of the Schulwerk and the work done in the Guntherschule.  We begin with the quote from Dorthea Gunther, “Out of movement, music and out of music, movement.”  We lead participants in an exploration of creating music based on movement motif and then alternately how to create dance based on movement concepts that relates to composed music.
